I'm not the best in that area but I would say anywhere in the 50s and up dollar wise (In other words I may be wrong but if I'm right you can make a pretty penny off of it)
I've been in the furniture for nearly three decades. May I suggest you research the company that made this piece. The name should be located somewhere on the back or under one of the drawers or inside the drawer, or you may have to remove the drawer and look behind it...but somewhere on this item is the name of the company. How do I know? Because it's a very nice reproduction piece but also a nice vintage item. The brass pulls on the front are the give away. The style, weight, and material they appear to made of.
Now for the good news/bad news- Depending what zip code you reside is going to result in the resale value as well as the buyer. If it were to go to auction-they normally sell for 60-180 $. However, you may want to advertise and avoid the sellers premium when you auction. Usually 30%. Also...the simplicity of this style is highly desirable when refurbished/painted in cottage style, shabbby chic, etc. Then it could bring 500+. Crazy but true. I personally love the grain of the wood on this and would keep it but its up to you. If you know how to DYI or are crafty-then you may make some money...but then again...time is money and it does take a while to refurbish an item of this size.
Based on the images this is a one of a kind custom made piece and not a factory made item. It's fairly modern and it's unlikely it predates the 1970's. These were often made from plans in magazines like Popular Mechanics and Fine Woodworking. In the shop we'd get $400.00- $600.00 for a comparable one.
