Bronze & Brass (Believe ) Japanese Elephant & Dragon Lamp

This may have been an antique Vase turned Lamp although the fittings are also old as well as the plug. I believe it is Japenese but not sure. Weighs 23lbs and height to the top of the lamp is 34." The width across the elephant head is 14." and the other way is 12. " No markings that I can see.Would appreciate any help in knowing where it was made and value.
