Bronzes like this were made in China and Japan, most are 19th century examples, but some are far older. You really need to have such pieces examined by a specialist appraiser. That said, most comparable 19th century examples sell at auction for under $300.00

Anyone know of any websites where it would be possible to use the stamp on the bottom of the vase to trace it back to the original maker?
