Can you tell me about my Pedestal Dining Table?

Profile picture for user MzzKay
By MzzKay, 21 January, 2014
Description

This table was given to my daughter a couple of years ago. When she moved into her new home, the table was replaced and she gave it to me. We have no history but the table appears to have some age. It is very sturdy, solid wood. The base was either a married piece or repaired.  You can see in the second picture, there was at one time larger piece attaching the base. The raw wood also looks aged.
