ceramic jar with lid

Description

Hello, my name is Rene, I found this ceramic jar & lid at a city wide garage sale here in Austin, Tx. it is in excellent shape, 2 small nicks on the lid, no very noticable, the bottom is stamped into the jar made in england. I googled this item under the info. that is on the jar, just a bit of history, no photos of this item, would apreciate any info. & worth, thanks, Rene
