Chef Teapot w/fly

Profile picture for user cajuncooker
By cajuncooker, 2 August, 2013
Description

Chef head teapot. The top is white as a chef's hat usually is. The pot itself is brown with kind of a shinny finish.  It has a face with a fly on his cheek. It is a funny, kind of goofey face. It has a spiral handle that appears to have been brass colored, which now looks a little rusted out. It has four footed corners at the bottom.

Category
Pottery
Distinguishing marks
At the bottom there is an "N" that looks like a C around it, or partially. It looks like a fancy shaped N. It is gold colored.

Fair
History
This teapot was purchased from an auction at Albania Plantation in Jeanerette, LA several years ago. I have no idea how old it is or if it is worth something.
