With the serial number of the piano and this website, you can find the year the piano was manufactured: Ridgely Fisher - Piano Appraiser & Historian www.pianoappraisal.com This website tells the history of the Chickering pianos http://www.kbbantiquepianos.com/Chickeringbios.html This doesn't answer your questions as to its worth, but this info may be helpful. I, too, have an old Chickering built in 1907.
