Description
in epic detail the thirteen trade factories of Canton (Guangzhou)(see wikiipedia for story and painting that depicts the scenes on the jar). Also look at Old China Trade on wikipedia for similar period painting. The ships in harbor are either junks or steam vessels. The flags when examined closely are of the period of 1860s. Much detail by hand. Appears to be a true historic piece and I have never seen any similar pottery of this period with these scenes in years of collecting.
