"The Church Woman Magazine" matchbox and matches

By amysantiques, 15 January, 2009
Description

This is a small matchbox, with gold-dipped matches.  The front has a red 'strikeburst'embossed into it, with the words "KINDLE THE LIGHT" beside it.  On the back, it reads:  "MORE THAN A MATCH!  THE CHURCH WOMAN MAGAZINE  BOX 134  MANHATTANVILLE STATION  NEW YORK  N.Y.  10027  ONE YEAR $4.00  THREE YEARS $10.00  10 ISSUES A YEAR"

Over half of the matches are still in the box, untouched.  There are a few strike marks on the strips on each side.
