Copr. 1948 Dr. Scholl's Foot Powder (metal) Tin (yellow) w/ original Foot Powder

By allie-oop, 5 March, 2010
Description

This is an original 1948 metal tin of Dr. Scholl's Foot Powder. I dont remember how i came across this, but i've had it for many years. I've never done this sort of thing but i've always been curious to see if i could get rid of it. It's a yellow tin can and you can read all the original writings. The can does have some minor rusting mostly pertaining to the area around the seam. The copr. date on the can is 1948 by The Scholl Mfg. Co.It has a shaker top which ismade of plastic (also yellow) and it actually has most of the original Dr. Scholl's Foot Powder still in it! There really isnt much smell to the powder now, tho. But its interesting and i think it would look good in a men's bathroom set in a display. I also have a metal Campho-Phenique Powder tin (w/original powder)in another listing.
