Courier and Ives Print of Noah's Arc over 115 years old

By Elaine Gartner, 26 March, 2013
Description

Hi,   This print was given to me by my grandpa 37 years ago just before he passed away in 1975.  He was 86 years old and he had told me that he learned to count on this picture when he was 4 or 5.  He had no idea where his family got it from or how long they had had it but he remembers always seeing it in their home.   It is in fair condition.  It had a wrinkle in it that was smoothed out and is tatered around on edge.  It has been in the frame it is in for as long as I can remember and I am 61.   I have a picture to send you although it is not a great picture it will give you an idea of what it is.   Thankyou for you time.    Elaine Gartner.

History
As I said in the earlier discription of the print, it was given to me by my grandpa just before he passed away in 1975 at age 86. It had been in his family for as long as he could remember and was passed down to him. He said he learned to count on it at age 4 or 5. He didn't know how long his parents had it.
