Crescent Furniture Line Armoire

This is a Crescent Furniture armoire approx 69” tall, 42” wide,  and 20” in length. The back is stamped with the following markings: Crescent Line Furniture, Ivory, Mirror, 500 1/2. Someone had tried to repaint it white and there is some old termite damage. I suspect since it was originally painted ivory this is lead paint. I would like to learn more about the history of this item as I am planning on refinishing it in the safest way possible since it more than likely has lead paint.
