It appears to be a small lithograph that has been painted. It has a metal sticker on the back that says F.H. Bresler Co., Fine Arts, Milwaukee.

It says "Entered according to act of congress in the year 1855 by N. Currier, in the Clerk's Offic of the District Court or the Southern District of N.Y." centered under the picture. Under the Left of the picture it says "F. Palmr Del."(I Think). Under the right "Lith by currier & Ives, N.Y.".

Size and dimensions of this item
The frame is 6 1/8" by 7 1/4". I would guess the picture at 5.5" x 6.75"
If it's that small it's a reproduction, as far as I know the May Morning litho was a large folio print, the original print image measures 16 3/4 x 23 7/8".
