Dagger from Middle East

Description

My husband was given this dagger from his uncle who did business in the middle east prior to 1934. He collected knives and daggers and came home with this one. It appears that the sheath is copper or brass, the handle is bone or ivory and there is writing on the blade. He would like to know the value of it.
