David and Helen Morris Pottery - in Smithsonian and Everson Museum of Art

By curious44, 12 April, 2016
Description

Hello All,

I have two pieces of pottery dated 1960 and signed Morris and D.C. Morris.  The information that I have found leads me to believe some of this artist's pieces are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian as well as the Everson Museum of Art in New York.   However, I can find no value on such pieces.  Following is a link as well as some info I have found:

http://www.sombrerobooks.com/?p=711.

Any information would be greatly appreciated along with the values.  Thanks so much.

I was told that David Morris was the inventor of crystalline glaze.
