Re: Dennis Patrick Lewan collector plates, "Bearly Hiding" ...

Collectors plates made since the 1970's have been bad choices for investment purchases, few if any have held their original retail value even thirty years after they were issued. I'd suggest checking Ebay for values, because what theyn sell for there is about what you can expect to get for them in this current market.

Re: Dennis Patrick Lewan collector plates, "Bearly Hiding" ...

Thank you dear..... found them listed at $52-$55 each, at a couple sites...... Plate lady and another and of course a listed sale price is seldom what one gets when trying to sell an item...

These plates have an additional  "Best Wishes" and signiture on reverse that those listed didn't have.  never considered them as investments or all that valuable..   just hate knowing they are sitting in a box in storage going to waste, when there might be someone who would enjoy and display them.....  my thoughts were in line with letting them go for around $15. each if they were bought together, and maybe someone would eventually see some increase in value further down the line..  they are darn'd cute and must be worth at least that to someone...  guess I'll toss them on e-bay or craigslist, just kinda liked this site and wanted those here to get a first shot at them.

Thank you for the responce tho....  and let us all hope the market returns for everyones collections and investments....                Dave
