Also black circle on the bottom where some form of external heat source such as sterno was used to keep the coffee or water warm. Includes separate lid (not attached with hinges). Pot has ornate carrying handles, claw foot legs, and spigot;as we'll as, a place for a round external heat source to be placed under the pot
