Early American rocker Armless rocking chair

Description

Maple or oak hardwood rocker spindle style. Appears to be original needle point with edge ruffles upholstery in poor condition. Wood itself is aged but in good condition Very high quality but simple style. No nails. Other than that I have no other info on it

Re: Early American rocker Armless rocking chair

Your rocker is a lot newer than it looks, it actually dates about 1890-1910 ( note the nails at each spindle joint).They were part of the Colonial Revival/Arts & Crafts movement in the USA popular during the turn of the 19th century. Values, well at auction under $100.00.
