Hand painted English porcelain plaque measuring approx 30cm by 25 cm in total with the image approx 25 cm by 20 cm the piece is in what would have been a purple felt frame but this has long since worn away. The plaque depicts a robins nest amongst brambles with the robin feeding its young and is just pure quality,There is crazing to the plaque but no cracks and overall for its age I would say the piece is in very good condition indeed. The plaque is signed G.Evans to the bottom right,There was a worcester artist of the same name working around the time this plaque was produced and although this piece is unmarked it is the sort of thing the artists did to earn a little extra money. The piece dates to late 19th early 20th century.I,m really looking for any info or valuation on this piece.
