Hello, I purchased this amazingly lovely little pendant at a Bavarian German second hand store a few years back while stationed there with my husband. I couldn't have paid more than 20 euro for it, probably less, but I could tell there was somethng really unique about it and I didn't think it was a print. I have since kept it in a suede pouch and have plans to get it professionally framed, but would like to get some idea of its worth for insurance purposes if nothing else. It appears to be an enamel painting on porcelain. There is no signature that I can see and no information about who the child is. There is a little wear around one edge, a few scratches here and there, but nothing that distracts from the painting, and the silver frame is very tarnished. I would love to simply have someone tell me a little more about it or how I might go about getting it officially appraised. Mainly I just want to know what it really is. I love that the child is so unique. She is not stylized at all. It is definately a painting of a specific child. Any information you can offer me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
The Marvelous, Mrs. D. :)
