Re: Fb rogers silver co trademark 1883 vintage coffee/tea pot
Origin: Shelbourn Falls Mass . 1883 for the company they then moved to
Taunton Mass in 1886.
The trademark you mention was used until approx 1955. But from 1886 to 1905 the company went by a different name. So that places this pot between 1905 and 1955.
This piece is silver plated. If I had a good picture of the hallmark I would be better able to pinpoint the time frame of its making. If I had to guess I would estimate 1925 - 1935's. I saw a piece on ebay like this but they are off on their dating. This would be called a Coffee / Tea Urn Samovar (Russian for Water boiler)
Estmate value $ 65 - $125 US based on market demand and condition.
Thanks for sharing ...
Peace Always
