This is a 18x23 framed Masonic document in Latin. Signed by three 33rd degree Masons John H. Fowles(Grand Commander of the Supreme Council SO: JUR: U.S.A), H.W. Witcover (Secretary General SO: JUR: U.S.A), and James P. Cochran (Grand Chancellor SO: JUR: U.S.A). It has one large gold embossed seal inscribed latin reading Supreme Concilum XXXIII Grandus, one medium next to John H Fowles with the info above, and two small next to each H.W. and James P with the info above. I think its a award or an achivement document. It reads DEI OPTIMI MAXIMI UNIVERSITATIS RERUM FONTIS AC ORGINIS AD GLORIAM, with another paragraph of latin below. Down further it has Sitton Kennedy Fowler with two more paragraphs of latin. It has a date of 1927 and Chorpus Christi Texas in one of the paragraphs. Theres all kinds of symbols and hidden meanings all over it including every symbol of degree from 1st to 33rd degree mason that borders around the whole document. Theres also large columns/pillars with sphinx topping them, the Grand Chancellors and Secretary Generals embossed gold seal is at the bottom of the columns/pillars. Its just an interesting piece with all kids of secret sybols and numbers on it. Ive done alot of research on the free masons and i cant find a whole lot about this document.
Re: Framed Masonic Document
George Washington was a Mason, I thought that was interesting when I found that out. If you ever decide to sell it you may want to go the genealogy route. You might get a lot better price for your document.
