I so greatly appreciat any help I can get to learn about this piece. It's in very good condition but the clock does not run. I may bring it to be repaired. It's gold in color and does not taste like anything which is why I thought it could be gold, or gold plated. It's engraved with roses. The inside says Betsy Ross and there's a serial number engraved inside which reads 7523606. It's on a very long chain with sort of a cinch thing on the chain. I don't know how that works or how it's supposed to be worn.
I'd really love to know ANYTHING about this. I love knowing the history of my treasures. I'm very interested in approximate date, materials and value.
