gunpowder flask

this is a gunpowder flask found in a box was recently going threw . i believe it was passed down threw my family but not sure . it looks like it is old and was used in battle there is a small crack on the brass push lever that allows the gunpowder to come out i have put as much pressure as i possibly can and cant get the crack to even move so i believe something hit it or was slammed into something not sure but all parts do work just a small crack .there are some stamped words on the top mainly covered by the spout the letters shown are eur manufacture second line = mar aly. thank you for your time and any help i can get .
