Re: Hamilton 14k gold diamond watch
Circa 1937 - 1948 17 jewel movement. this is based on the 780 which is the serial number. (486300) was the total number of watches in this serial set. I would further guess that with this serial number it was just pre WWII. So circa 1937 - 1940's

In order to do an evaluation I would need more details and pictures. The clasp on the band, does it work, does it keep time ... any noted damage etc ....
