Re: high mountain glory painting with a gold plack with ...

I acquired this painting About 25 Years ago.On the gold plack it reads HIGH GLORY and underneath is Wijmerj.  It is in excellent condition and signed on the bottom left corner by the artist.  The gentleman was growing old and he gave it to my husband.  The only thing my husband knows is the man aquired it in the 50's.  It is about five feet by 30 inches including the gold frame.  I am not familiar with what it is painted on.  .Give me an idea on how to check this.  If it is of any value, I want to give it to one of my grandchildren.  I'll appreciate anything you can tell me about it  Thank you,  Alyce Cartia

Has anyone found out how much it is appraised for? I have the exact painting and it's over 60 years old. It belonged to my grandmother.
