This is a Huge Persian Copper Vase. Coated with Tin. Slightly Embossed Hammered and Hand Engraved. It stands at 1.27meter or 50inch Height. Weighs at 20 kilogram. Body diameter is 50 cm. Based on its Design its 20 years of age or more. Probably from Shiraz or Isfahan where birds and flower design is common. This is not a new item. The Tin coating is slightly tarnished due to its age. Some Iranian who are familiar of this work says its worth around a 1000 $ . Others says its between 2500 $ - 4000 $.
But when I went online at auctionata.com for free appraisal.. i was surprised with what they returned to me as an answer to my query.

Im quite disappointed with the Experts-to-be who give the valuation and appraisal to my item it is totally and cathegorically laughable! I know this is a free assessment but if you give values which are out of this world then people will definitely lost their trust on you guys. For a persian 1 Kg to 2 Kg Ghalam Copper handmade natural work it will even yield a value of 200 Euro. Whereas an Embossed copper Sheet Art 6Kilogram will yield as much as 1000 and more Euro depending on the work. Then for 20 Kilogram ghalam copper vase work 50 inch inch height you give a valuation of 200 - 400 euro only? What?Totally unbelievable. If there not sure enough of its worth then better go to Isfahan and learn the methods of ghalam workthen theyll understand the true value and cost of this handmade copper work!
