I inherited a buffet hutch & table set from my mother after she passed away & I have absolutely no information on it other than the stamped "Walter of Wabash" on the underside of the table. After researching (& getting really nowhere) I have discovered that Walter only made the sliders for tables in first half of the 1900's. I have searched for hours & hours & cannot find anything even similar to these pieces on the internet.
I want to refinish the set & update it. I'm not interested in selling it, since it was my mother's furniture but I was hoping someone could give me some more info & maybe a ballpark amount of what it may be worth. If it's valuable, it may affect my decision on how & how much I update the pieces (paint vs stain, replace glass on doors, etc).
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Re: Hutch and table circa 1960's?
