Description

First of all, I am looking for an appraisal for my own personal information. I love old Roman jewelry and I am not going to sell this ring or the others that I have. I am a seeker of knowledge and would absolutely love to know what information there is to be had about this ring.

What I'd like to know about it is roughly what year it might have been made in. It is suppose to be a man's Roman engagement ring from either the 3rd or 4th century and it was found in the Holy Land region, with other Roman artifacts.

The entire band does have a very nice, heavy, black patina. Patina does not rub/wear off whatsoever, which I take to be a very good sign.
