Italian Cheetah Statue

By toryann, 3 May, 2017
Description

My parents are selling our childhood home and some of the furnishings in it. I am hoping that someone can help me appraise a few of the items

This vintage cheetah sculpture was made in Italy and purchased from Harrod's in the 1970's. 20-some years ago, the legs and a foot cracked (see photos 2 and 3). Otherwise, it is in great condition.

Thank you,

Victoria

History
This statue was made in Italy and purchased from Harrod's in the 1970's by my father's ex-wife in Scotland. For some reason (that I will never understand), he kept this statue after their divorce and kept it still when we moved to America in the 90's. As my mother has spent 30+ years cursing this cheetah, I cannot guarantee that doesn't have a bit of bad juju (though, the thing is still standing)...
