Description
Hand painted, gold trim, inside in gold 109/1666 paul's italy. appears there may have been another marking, in red? but is too worn to make out. is in excellent condition, only on tips of mid section, where there are 6 points almost, gold is worn/slightly scratched off on most.
Re: italian lamp
This lamp appears to be Capodimonte porcelain, probably from that region of Italy, early to mid 20th century. Values range widely. Some are without much detail, but the unusual design of this one could place it in the $100-$150 range. This is only a guess based on research I did a few years ago. I sold one larger than this with flower detail in relief at the top of that range.
