J. Chein & Co made in the USA tin toys

By _angela45, 2 September, 2012
Description

I bought two J. Chein tin toys at a local garage sale and I was just wondering what they might be worth. One is a clown in a handstand position, oh by the way, these are both wind up toys. The other is a duck that is mostly yellow and orange. Both have excellent colors and condition for their age, the duck's winding mechanism turns with no problems, but for whatever reason does not shake. The clown's winding mechanism is locked, but not sure it could be fixed or not. I can send pictures if necessary. Thanks, Angela

Re: J. Chein & Co made in the USA tin toys

In non working condition and with some wear issues such as these... $25~ or so each retail is what they are bringing on ebay. Nice find.
