AI Appraisal
Description 3 1/2 inch signed on bottom hand carved ivory fisherman holding up a fish. I looked into how to tell wheather an item is real ivory or a fake and every thing points to a real genuine piece of elephant tusk or mammoth tusk carved ivory. It has the visible grain and the bottom has criss crossinf of the grain. There are no dark pits or areas that would suggest bone. It is heavy weight and has a japaneese or chineese signature etched on the bottom.
