This is THE KOOTENAY washboard....as the pictures attached, it says Mountain Brand, manufactured by Western Woodenware Ltd, Vancouver B.C. _ Can you give me some information/background/etc on this washboard; I can't find information on the Web so far. Your assistance is much appreciated. There is no date on the board itself, however, I have attached several views of the washboard I posted. I would say it is good to excellent condition. It is 12" wide, by 24" high, with the metal wash grid being 12" high & comprises of 5 1/2" legs.
