Limoge France Elite Demitasse Cup & Saucer

By happyquilter, 16 August, 2011
Description

The cup is marked in red Limoge France in red and can't make out the mark. It looks like a raised gold floral design on it and its a turquoise color on the lower part of the cup and as it comes up the cup gets lighter in color unti it turns white and has a gold long handle which looks like bamboo and the cup is trimmed in gold around the rim. The saucer  has like a scalloped edge in gold trim and is a turquoise color in the center and comes out to a white around the outer edge. It has swirl to the pattern. Its not smooth but indented.  It has a single bamboo raised floral design with two flowers on a branch with a filler. The cup is marked with a green Limoge , an arrow pointed to the left and France under it and a red Elite with a mark shaped like a pocket and under it Limoge and under that France.   The plate itself looks like a floral pedal from a distance and the cup has a pedal impression going upwards all around the cup. Its really light weight. And its also translucent on both pieces when held up to the light.
