Re: Limoges France Miniature Tea Warmer
Based on the marking it post dates 1890, country of origin marking were not generally in use until 1891. Limoges, France was one of the largest centers of production for hand painted porcelain from the 1870's through to about World War One (1914). I don't have any information regarding the mark, but there were literally hundreds of potteries and decorator studios located in Limoges during that period.
Re: Limoges France Miniature Tea Warmer
Thanks Lovejoy. I have look all over the internet and have not been able to find any France Limoges scenes similar to the one depicted here. Is there a book or reference source that may name this pattern. Any idea of a range to sell a piece like this?
Thank you again.
