Description This rocker has been in my family for 3 generations. I would really like to know where and when it might have been made. I'm sure it's all hand work as there are differences in the lion heads and carvings. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It's American, dates from the turn of the 19th Century and was likely made in Grand Rapids Michigan. Similar chairs can be found in mail order catalogs such as Montgomery- Wards circa 1989. Lovejoy
