Description
I came across this large marble bust sculpture at a local auction. I picked it up for <$200 thinking I had nothing to lose other than pulling my back trying to lift this thing. I think it depicts a Roman figure given the headware, beard and chest plate. For all I know it could be a Chinese knock-off. I appreciate any light that can be shed on what I have here.
The piece measures 33" tall. It sits on a black & white marble base that is 31.5" tall.
