Mechanical Uncle Sam Coin Bank

Description

 Working, excellent condition, no chipping. Mechanical Uncle Sam Bank Patened June 8 1886

Was owned by my great scientist uncle who invented the first model microphone bought by Royer Michrophones.  His model being Speiden.

 nice. i have one also but i believe its a remake.. does yours take a key? if it is the original i was told they run between $1500 up to $9500..

We've had a pile of these Uncle Sam banks listed here in recent years, but as this bank has been extensivly reproduced you really need to have a specialist have a look at it. Values for them are all over the map, here's a link tomauctions for them this past year:
