Description

I found a handwoven 18"x36" tapestry of an 18th Century French Salon. The colors seem to be pretty pigmented still, and it is in good condition. I purchased it, as even I knew it was extremely underpriced. There is a small stain on the back (lower left hand corner), and a very faint stain on the front (top center).

I don't know much about it, but the other listings had it down as an early 1900s Belgian remake of a French salon tapestry. I'm just curious how much of this is true and certainly wanting to know how much it is truly worth!
