I got this item in a box from an auction and don't know what it is. It's a silver plated "dish" of some sort. It has a rounded handle. It's shaped kind of like a leaf. It is approximately 6 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide. It is stamped on the bottom MIDDLETOWN PLATE CO. QUADRUPLE PLATE. MIDDLETOWN, CT. It has a scale with the number 5 in it. If anyone could please help me out that would be wonderful!
