Monterey Dining Table & Chairs

By arjon, 20 October, 2014
Description

I believe this table & chairs is Spanish Revival.   It is stamped/branded "MONTEREY" and also has the number 465 stamped/branded.  I have searched thousands of photos and have found only 1 or 2 that are remotely similar.    The table is 5 feet x 3 feet and when all 4 leaves are put in it extends to 8 feet.  It is in very good to excellent condition,  One of the chairs has writing on the bottom that says "reglued 1-25-70".

Can anyone tell me anything about this set, including estimated value?

Re: Monterey Dining Table & Chairs

Sets like these do tend to date from the mid 1920's through to World War Two, generally in "As Is " condition needing some repairs sets like this often go at auction for less than $300.00.
