Large Native American basket. Top, finished edge missing. Small repair to upper edge. Most interested in knowing which American Indian tribe created, approx. when and if it is in good enough condition to donate to museum? Value for tax purposes?

Wow, beautiful basket. looks like it could be northwest coast somewhere between northern california and alaska .its large with a nice patina. age appears to be late 19th or early 20th century. damage hurts it a little but I would think any museum would be thrilled to get it
