the chair appears to an oak child's chair judging by it's size. The seat is 18" high with a depth of 14 and width of 15". The seat back is 33" high. Interesting carvings with the two carved pieces on the back of the chair slightly loose. The trapazoidal seat and base make me think it would "nest" with others like it to form a circle. Stencil of "512" under seat. Area around the 512 appears more like cherry wood than the oak the rest of the chair seems to be.
