OLD IRONSIDES PICTURE WITH FRAME

By TONTEEN, 3 August, 2014
Description

Hello

This picture of "Old Ironsides" has been in the family for many years starting with my Grandparents, then my Parents, then to me. Before my Grandparents I have no information.. The frame is original and the back of the frame shows the nails holding picture/frame in place. The only writing I can see on the picture is the words "Old Ironsides" if there is any other marks or descriptions, name/date etc. Then maybe on back of picture or covered by frame. Or maybe none.

I have no idea if this picture has any value or even if it's worth anything, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Thank You

History
This picture first started out to be my Grandparents (deceased) It was passed down to my parents (deceased) .I now have the picture.I have no knowledge before that. I remember seeing hung up in my grandparents home many years ago, as well as my parents, and now I have it hanging up. only because it more or less has sentimental value for me.The picture seems in good condition, the frame seems like the original and is made of wood.I do not have much history on it. I just thought I would ask if there is any value to it . I'm not sure as to put it Good or Fair. I think it's between.
