Re: pair of japanese "satsuma"vases
they are Satsuma Moriage vases (the moriage are the raised bumps you feel when you run yoru hand over it.) They date to around 1900....US price would be about $150-200 each if in excellent condition. The market seems to have slumped on these, but there are still collectors out there.
