Peasants of the Vale of Langollen old painting/art

By Anonymous (not verified), 23 October, 2007
Description

This was in a box with other things of value, passed down from our grandmother. It appears to be VERY OLD the paper is unusual with a rough, thick, grainy type texture. The paper has broken in the bottom corners. It feels dry & brittle. It looks to be an original. I can't be sure. I have kept it in a ziploc bag over the past 10 years to keep it from deteriorating any further. Only took it out to take these pictures.

A picture that matched yours was posted below the price to the far right above. I don't know the conversion rate.

I don't know if this was an auction site or not it was from the UK.

This was the name of a book. I noticed you missed the second l in the title. That's the only thing I'm sure of. :o)

I'm not an expert I just love old books ~ Good Luck in your search!

I am sorry, this is my first

I am sorry, this is my first time using this site and am a little confused.  Did you find a painting that's the same or  a book with this picture on it? Do you have the link to the site?
