"Meriden Brittannia Company"or "Meriden B. Company" was absorbed into the International Silver Company in 1898, but still used it's various company marks into the 1930's. They made nice silver plated hollow ware or pewter-like alloyed Brittania. Desirable piece... an 1800's tureen is even in a museum! http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/opencollection/objects/2244
I love the bird finial.
Rare pieces can really be expensive, needs more research.
