Description
This book was inherited and was originally purchased in Europe in the 1940's. The book is in immaculate condition
save for some wear on the spine from repeated removel from dust cover. The book was published in New York by
E.P. Dutton in 1908. It was translated by Edward Fitzgerald. The beautiful full page color artwork was done by
Gilbert James. The book is handsomely leather bound. The text and trim is done in what appears to be gold leaf.
The book comes in a boxed dust cover made of sturdy cardboard and is covered in what appears to be a silk like
material. The Dust Cover is not in very good condition. It shows signs of age (faded) as well as wear, but it
is still very much intact and serviceable.
