This microphone was picked up at a flea market many years ago for less than $1. There isn't much information about it online. I know it's a carbon mic that apparently came with a "j5" recording cutter. The cutter was released somewhere between 1930 and 1937 and is one of the first cutters that were available. So I atleast have an close estimate as to when the microphone was manufactured. The cable had started to fall apart so it needed to be removed. I believe that it still holds value in it's current state. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
